SMAC, standing for Social Media and Mental Health Attitudinal Change, aims to transform the digital realm’s impact on psychological well-being. It seeks to promote mindfulness, empathy, and empowerment in online interactions, addressing challenges like comparison-driven anxieties and cyberbullying. Through awareness campaigns and partnerships with mental health experts, SMAC advocates for responsible social media usage and fosters a supportive online community.

Purpose

To empower individuals to lead healthier and happier lives by creating a balance with technology (social media primarily) and traditional solutions (physical connections), to support mental health, promote resilience, and reduce stigma.

Christopher Ezike

Business Developer

Christopher Ezike, a front-end web developer with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, also boasts extensive experience in customer relations and business management. As the Lead Project for SMAC, Chris is dedicated to mentoring young individuals, drawing from his own experiences to help them overcome anxiety disorders and achieve success.

Content developer

I am Philip Treasure Oluwadurotimi, a student at the Pan African College of Entrepreneurship and Professional Studies, which is affiliated with Edexcel University. I am currently in my fourth year, pursuing a degree in Accounting.
